Make Rust Legacy FREE TO PLAY
Hello everyone,

A lot of my friends and i are really missing the old rust. Like many peoples we think it is really different game.

Do you think it could be possiblle to make Rust legacy éfree to play" ?

I AM 100 % sure that rust legacy will be on top download on steam free to play.

I think it also good for the devs. I am sure people who will love legacy will also buy the new game.

Now legacy is dying... there is only one or two russian server with 30/40 peoples. I miss the old rust full of people. I really miss this game and i am sad he is dying...

they might be shutting legacy down bro, it costs them a lot to keep the servers running and almost no 1 is using it. so making the game free is probably not an option

I totally disagree with this ! First : There is no more official server so the cost is zero. Seconde, the game is dammm good. I am 100 % sure this game in free to play with some skins to buy for weapon / cloth etc...will be on the top free to play downloaded game and i am also sur that they can make money with it (Without beiing pay to win)

They have to pay other companies to keep the game up, they already talked about in on reddit.
They will shut down Legacy sooner or later.

They'd do well to clean it up and release a Final client version for it. Nothing to lose.

this aint about agreeing or thinking or opinions. its just what the devs said

I would love this! Pretty much quit the Rust once they changed it to new one! But would gladly even pay for legacy!

how is the cost zero? someone still has to pay for servers. To open the game as free to play there has to be servers available for people to join and try the game out before they go paying money for their own servers...... and since they will be paying money for their own servers its hardly free to play now is it?

I have quite a few early access games I don't play anymore, but still follow development...
I don't see it as a bad thing
