disconnected:eac: Authentication timed out (1/2)

I keep having this error. i have deleted the eac installer and verifed the cache which gives it back. ive even ran the game in admin mode. ran the eac installer to fix it and still nothing. please help

Here's what I've done I've reinstalled EAC like 3 times uninstalled the game and reinstalled it twice verified my game at least 10 times all of this was done with running the game as admin or running it from steam I've updated gpu drivers and windows (yes resting it does not help either) if any one could help i need it a lot if you wanna talk fast add my discord uncle#0001

2.right click on Rust
3.choose properties
4.go to local files in properties
5.choose verify integrity of game files

Try to check your Rust Files from Steam

important - disable your windows magnifier, rust doesnt allow to use it to prevent zoom cheating, resulting in auth failure

I always have it on so I can transition from chair to couch and still be able to read and see things clearly from further away.
I'm hiding the window with AHK, so I never even think about it running when I'm at regular 100%.
Closed that out, and now it's loading. Thanks!

This is what did it for me. EAC won't connect if I launch Rust with the taskbar pin.
