The update screwed with the EAC for some people and is causing blue screens. I fixed my girlfriends rust buy giving her my eac file and the eac dll in my rust folder and replacing hers old ones and it fixed it for her.

Hi,

We're investigating on this error. What Windows version do you have, and which anti-virus are you using?

Could you check if there's a Windows crash dump file in C:\Windows\Minidump\, and upload the latest one to e.g. https://uploadfiles.io? Thanks!

I have same problem ! I have W7 and I'm using AVAST.

Thx for answers

Thanks for this information!

We've reverted the latest update already while investigating this further, the game should work normally now.

I managed to fix the problem by uninstalling the game and cleaned the reamining files rust files left after the installation. I than did a new fresh installation.

It works fine now. Thanks for the replies

I have the solution :

1 - go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat
2 - run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe ( run on admin)
3 - Select "Rust" and uninstall
4 - go to \Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat and copy the 2 files
(EasyAntiCheat.exe and EasyAntiCheat.sys)
5 - paste the 2 files in \Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat
6 - Run EasyAntiCheat.exe
7 - Select "Rust" and Install
8 - after all steps, Run Rust

This solution in was a success for me.
