We're investigating on this error. What Windows version do you have, and which anti-virus are you using?
Could you check if there's a Windows crash dump file in C:\Windows\Minidump\, and upload the latest one to e.g. https://uploadfiles.io? Thanks!
If I ask my friends for these FILES, will be my game OK ? :)
Thx for answers
We've reverted the latest update already while investigating this further, the game should work normally now.
It works fine now. Thanks for the replies
1 - go to \Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat
2 - run EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe ( run on admin)
3 - Select "Rust" and uninstall
4 - go to \Program Files (x86)\EasyAntiCheat and copy the 2 files
(EasyAntiCheat.exe and EasyAntiCheat.sys)
5 - paste the 2 files in \Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\EasyAntiCheat
6 - Run EasyAntiCheat.exe
7 - Select "Rust" and Install
8 - after all steps, Run Rust
This solution in was a success for me.
Edit: my problem was fixed by latest EAC update.
However i can't find the 2 files that are mentioned in the step by step.
and i am also running win 7 with avast, btw.
