I'll agree this happens constantly, but what exactly is the solution? We technically have nakeds wearing the sash now, but it's tough to see what weapons they're carrying until you're close.
Whenever I try to play nice, I get ganked by other players, so I stop playing nice. The game itself doesn't really support friendly play, it explicitly rewards being a sociopath.
Like in Rust. Rust Legacy it was all fun and games, no roleplayers, nothing. It was if you had a torch out no one would kill you unless you posed a threat to them. Now people broke that trust by holding your torch and as the gear guy turned around that naked would pull a gun on them.
This snowballed into full geared guy shooting nakeds without sashes and you never being able to join a clan randomly without a set amount of hours and a 5-page application filled out. People just think that if you don't KOS you're a filthy roleplayer and they don't see a in-between of being a normal player without being aids.
