Cave Jump Puzzle
Can you guys fix the jumping or at least extend the platforms? Sick of my dude not wanting to jump and falling to his death. My spacebar isn't broken and it isn't lag.

You have to time the jumps right or that will happen. Before I was able to do the parkour garbage I used to practise on battlefield servers.

Also this game requires Sprint and jump to be pressed at the same time to make long jumps you can't release Sprint and then jump or you will come up mad short. As a person who uses alt to Sprint this was very frustrating. I've played over 100 PC games and have never come across this problem before.

Im not sure what you mean by this? By default the sprint key is Shift, its fairly easy to use. If you want you can rebind it in the controls menu to something more comfortable.

Any time the map geometry is not flat enough (or some other "proper" angle) the player character will momentarilly "fall" the short distance from the upper portion of the collision area to the lower portion, in a slight arc dictated by gravity.
Since you're "technically" falling down and are in mid-air, you're not allowed to jump

Hence why the game eats your jump command and you splat.
You basically have to do a sprint-jump from a standstill.

Then, there are also the head-bonks on ceilings, and being pushed off course by wall geometry...
Basically, if you see the "spike pit" tunnel variation in a cave, you're never getting past it.

I mean that in most games you don't have to be pushing the Sprint button in the air. As I use a key that requires you to take you hand off the Sprint button it took me ages to realize you needed to Continue to push Sprint while in the air. Any other game if you are traveling at a certain speed i.e. sprinting when you jump you continue at that speed. In this game if you don't press Sprint t while in the air you don't go as far.

Even standing still if you hold Sprint when you jump, even if you don't run forward first you travel much farther
