Why are all the Rust servers so dead this wipe?
Anyone notice that? Every server is lower pop than it normally is, I mean seriously rustified.com is at 200/450, Rustopia/US 181/350, rusty moose main 150/250, all of these serveres are normally popin on saturday morning. Seems like with everyone being able to max out in an hour there is no point in staying on a server, or even playing at that point when everyone is geared out and there is nothing to do anymore but run around and pvp, gonna go raid? For what? More guns? Already have all the guns I could ever use in a week. And honestly this isn't the best pvp game to be doing that It's not that the pvp doesnt work right but there are some major problems with users being able to run script commands giving them insane fire speed and almost zero recoil, or just seriously hacking. I run into these scripter/hackers so often I don't even like going out and pvping anymore cause it's unfair. You never know maybe its a cheater maybe its not, you wanna go out at night thinking some cover of darkness? Nope cheaters change their monitor settings so they can still see at night. Like it's so unfair all around, users are just able to cheat the game in so many ways for someone like me trying to play it normally with no changes or additions it's unbarable.

its because of the last banwave wich weeded with much luck 20% of the cheaters, the 80% cheaters that got still away with it are very careful atm
and there is an extreme high number of cheaters, an EXTREME high number in this game, thats why so few players are on
I guess nowadays, people just quit after being raided. I feel the pain too as I play solo, it takes me around 6-7 hrs on wipe day to get something going then once you lose it....it just feels pointless anymore to play. So I hop on another server hoping to get a better start. (you also get the feeling that whoever raided you just got much stronger, which makes you think that rebuilding is useless since your enemy can raid you again)

I haven't played with the BP system in legacy but it sounds like it kept the community on better than the component system

Reddit server is constantly packed with over 20 in Q during peak hours.

Maybe since the changes dynamics are favoring smaller server populations. But everyone wants to spin their own story to villify not being able to adapt to changes so take that with a grain of salt I suppose.
