30-40FPS
Welp Rust is officially bad.
Specs:
1070
i7-6700
16gb ram
Z170 Pro Gaming Motherboard

But nup. Lowest settings and I get 30-40fps. Doesn't matter if I change it really I downgrade by 2-7 fps.

I know there's no fix but if anyone's out there. Heeelp mee.........

I've literally tried everything

There probably is a fix, you should be able to run it fine. I'll look around

well 30-40 fps sounds pretty odd to me, I have a GTX 1080, i5 6600k, and 16gb ram, and my fps can be anywhere between 60-120 fps. But I actually found out, that if you lower your settings your fps actually gets worse if your pc can handle high graphics. I have all settings on ultra except shadows, which I've turned all the way down to 50 (minimum), and then i completely turned off cascades. Try to do the same and send me the result :)

Just yesterday I did get 70-100fps with constant drops to 20fps every bloody 10 seconds but then it just went back to 30-40 later last night and today with the drops but less than before

Whats you internet connection like? Are you hardwire? Whats on your network? What service package do you have?

Use GeForce expirience to optimise your game and use these launch option: -high -maxMem=16384 -malloc=system -force-feature-level-11-0 -winxp -nolog -force-d3d11 Just put the amount memory you have. I had the same problem but this helped. And If you are iterested to play with me contact me

This game doesn't even support these launch commands so all of that is bogus.

Delete your cfg and commonredist folders in rust then verify game files so it re-downloads them. After that use DDU to wipe any trace of nvidia software and drivers off and reinstall your drivers without that useless geforce experience junk. Guarantee you will see huge FPS increase after this.

You sure you have a power supply that is good enough to support that hardware?
