This is tbh a very bad feature. I wan't to make my character how i want. Not randomly created

You weren't capable of picking your gender in real life. This game is similar. It's tied to your steam ID and garry has made it very clear that he will never change that.

This is not real life. This is a game and I already have a gender in real life, I should have the option of basing my character off of myself.

it's compeltely up to the developer if you SHOULD have the choice of selecting the Gender. Gary has made this all clear. he's not going to change it and this isn't the first time its been brought up. its been brought up thousands... it achieves nothing.

Still, it is a really bad developer decision. What difference would it make to give players an option to spawn as a male or female, I wouldn't even care if the characters themselves were random. It just feels weird to play as a bald curvy white basic woman... And meanwhile my mate is a beefed up black guy >_< Clearly, Garry cares about customization as the game has skins for clothes and weapons. Why not allow that same form of choice for a player character...

No iti sn't. If everyone could be the generic default setup how would people be able to tell who's who without name tags in the future? It's a game featurew that is required for a vital part of the game. If you don't like it you can buy the game on different accounts to get new characters, or wait to see if there is ever a "re-randomize" option.

Besides seeing myself in inventory and my mate having to deal with my character, so far every single encounter with randoms seem to lead in excessive sexual immature conversations.. Its kinda annoying in several ways..

The game does not revolve around the gender/ethnicity of your character. And to say its a bad decision, hmm. Clearly you have not been playing Rust for the last 3-4 years or looked at Facepunch annual financial reports.
