How to water plants in planter boxes?

Basically how do you water the corn I have put in planter boxes? I have tried using the bucket but I can't seem to fill it up :/

bucket filling( from storage tank) appears to be bugged, cant fill it up either.

try to fill it up from the rivers or sea.

Ok so basically you need to have the bucket in your hotbar while filling it as while in your inventory the bucket empties itself

It needs to be in hotbar and equipped

But how do you actually water plants? I tried pouring water over them, that didnt help, still 0 ml hydration....

If you are having problems filling up buckets from water catchers, check to see if you have researched the bucket... I think it's still a bug, but after I researched the bucket and crafted a new one it worked.

That's the problem with society today. We probably all eat corn from time to time, cornflakes, popcorn, corn syrup (a main ingredient in ketchup). But does any one of us know how to grow,
let alone,WATER the corn??
