where can i drink water?

I know you can drink from ponds or rivers, but sometimes you cant drink from them. is it a bug or what?

Try doing it at a different stance or angle as you are able to drink from all water sources even the ocean (which will deal damage to you)

I found if it does not work submerge your self then come back out and it seems to work then...
