Rust
The memory could not be written.
Hello, i haven't played rust in about a year or so and decided to boot it up today. I cannot play it after the "downloading easyanticheat" thingo comes up because it pops up with an error message"
The instruction at 0xbe830456 referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be written.
I'm not sure if this is due to some drivers or something, but another game of mine has been dropping frames which were always smooth before.

did you guys find the solution?

Whoa guys, it's NOT us, I've played 10-12 hours a stretch never once a problem with Rust, not until this morning. Kicked to my desktop within 3-4 minutes of running around on any server I tried. Don't reload Windows, or do anything harsh, it's NOT us, this is a bug on Facepunch's end, they need to be made aware of it (via Twitter/Discord and any other avenue available).

Just started with me this morning. Same as everyone else, I'm gonna give it till tomorrow to work itself out, then if it's the same, gonna complain on forums and make them fix it, via phone calls, emails, forum posts, whatever else it takes. FP needs to get on top of this immediately and not try to shift blame to our "systems". Nope, not this time my friend....definitely not my "system." Been playing Rust too long without any issues.

that is truly tough, though you're lucky for even being able to join the server lol

Pretty funny Vert, but it's not our fault. Since this morning, I've joined 10+ servers, ran around for 3-4 minutes, the zapped straight to my desktop with that stupid 0x00000000 memory message (as others have also). I can only hope Steam / Facepunch are made aware of this, not blame our computers and put out a hotfix/patch to rectify this pretty quickly. I've given up on Rust for today, but tomorrow, I expect to play my favorite game as before, they need to stay up late and get this fixed. There's too many Rust-aholics out there for this to be happening!

I ended up falling and almost dying, thankfully a friend was able to revive me. Still, I keep crashing every 5-10 minutes and I can't seem to fix it.

So what I did and it seems to work but I’m still loading in, (I’ll let you know when I’m in the server) leaving the application error open won’t freeze your game, instead for me it keeps loading into the server, try leaving the error open while playing
