Just another question: how many explosives would it take to destroy a stone wall? I put 6k sulfur ore to cook up last night, might be able to spare some gunpowder.
Furthermore, only 2 C4 are required for sheet metal upgraded structures too. Stone and metal are fairly equal to eachother. The only difference really is sheet metal upgrade has higher health than stone. Spears also work on sheet metal too (great logic game design there yup). The only real beneficial upgrade is to upgrade to armoured, the highest level of upgrading structures. It's very expensive though and cost a lot of high quality metal to upgrade. This upgrade requires only 3 C4 to be broken too.
Honestly that is the cheapest method as this person says. If you're going economical, rockets are the way to go. C4 is pretty much useless now and you need a heck of a lot of it to really get anywhere anymore. Unless you can acquire 50+ tech trash it's almost pointless to raid with anymore because of all the honeycomb designs. The double wall stacking exploit too makes C4 an utter waste of time. When you see double wall stacking it's best you just walk away and count your losses.
