how do i get armor and weapon skins?
will I receive them while playing?

You will get random skin drops but they aren't great. In the 1500 hours I've played I've only gotten 2 decent skin drops. If you want a certain skin you'll just have to break down and buy it.

You will get free random drops, but you can buy opening the Steam Rust's page. There you will find the skins store. Or you can buy on Steam community market.
