Is there a way to toggle ADS??

I just got Rust, I'm loving it. But is there a way to toggle ADS? I toggle ADS in every game so it would suck if i couldn't in this game..

there is no way to disable that. not sure why you would want to disable that either. there are attachments for the guns like reflex sight, 4x zoom, etc. and you can hip fire just like any other fps. no toggling ads though.

Not sure why i would want to disable that? Im not trying to disable ADS, I'm trying to ADS with a "Click" instead of holding it down. Many games include this in the options. I play CS, so im use to ADSing with just a click.

ah, okay. that makes more sense then. i thought you meant something else. to answer your question, no... there is no toggle for that. you have to hold the button down. this isn't a competitive FPS like CS:GO. it's a survival game.

ah, okay. that makes more sense then. no... there is not toggle for that. you have to hold the button down. this isn't a competitive FPS like CS:GO. it's a survival game.

Are you retarded? Aim toggle has nothing to do with competitive FPSs. Same goes for crouch & sprint toggle. 90% of games that alow you to aim with the right click have an option for toggle instead of hold. Hell even in Skyrim & Bioshock there's a way to toggle crouch, sprint, & aim.

it was a brain fart on my part. for some reason i thought you were wanting to know if you can disable the "Aiming down your sights" animation and just show a crosshair instead. anyway, if this bugs you just post a suggestion to the devs. that's pretty much all i can offer you man.

Finally! A late reply but after 2 years I have finally figured out how to toggle ads in Rust. Basically if you guys have a steelseries mouse or maybe other mouse, you can set a macro for your RMB to Toggle hold when clicked. In the mouse driver.
