how do i place two cupboards in my base?

Cupboards cast a "only those authorized can build here"-Sphere around them. It goes quite high and wide, but only half a foundation below if I remember that right. If you want to place another cupboard, it has to be outside/at the edge of that sphere. So if you want to have two cupboards in your base, build the first one on the 3rd floor, and then one on the 1st floor. If someone gets TC access on the 1st floor he won't be able to build higher up due to the TC on the 3rd floor blocking them again.
Keep in mind that the oldest TC is always the primary TC that "overrides" all others...

You ever consider that maybe those hours are from legacy? Why so rude?

OP, I don't remember how much distance between two cupboards is needed but you can't place asecond cupboard within the range of the first, even with building priviledge.

I think it goes like this Build floor 1 with 1st TC. Later on when you have enough time/resources to build your 2nd floor & third floor build 2 TC ready in your inventory. After all 3 floors are built go back to your 1st floor TC & destroy it, then rush up to your 3rd floor & place your new 1st/primary TC. Then go back down to first floor & place your 2nd TC.

thank you for those who answered my question, i have no idea why this community can be so cancerous. My 700 hours are from legacy, I have not played rust in a long time, i can;t believe I had to answer that.

another question, i'm on hapis island, where is the best place for crates so that I can find weapon parts?
