Craft Sheet Metal?

how exactly do I get sheet metal?
I need it for a research table but can't find any!

Hi,
You have to find at least 1 piece of "sheet metal", and you must have more than 30 pieces of scrap for 100% chance of craft.
Now you find or you craft "research table", where you can clone "sheet metal".
There is screen of "research table[image.prntscr.com]"

Get sheet metal from hitting barrels and looting them, or looting boxes.

i usually get some sheet metal from boxes in the dome. So i'd say best bet is to go to monuments.
