Serious technical problem.

Hi, community! My name is Jesus Albarran. I´m writing a scientific paper about Elegy For a Death World for an international congress, but I stumbled on a big technical problem with this game. I can´t do anything but flying around the main level, and I cannot access to the worlds or my stories (i checked in another steam account in another computer and it´s the same). I wonder if this problems can be fixed or if someone have any solutions. I´m all ears! I thank you a lot for the reading. Best regards!

That's an interesting bug, but I've personally never encountered it. Have you tried reinstalling the game? If that doesn't make a difference, I'd suggest contacting the developers about it. They're really nice and informative, not to mention generally helpful.

Thanks a lot, Desenova, you are too kind :D ! But i´m still have this problem after reinstall the game. I´m using an ASUS S500C, Ziba. Yes, I tried in another computer (Republic of Gamers) but still nothing. I think the problem is about the publication of my work. I can access to the worlds when I´m offline, but I cannot publish my work then. Thanks a lot to you too, Ziba!

Sorry you're having trouble. Here's a possibility: Have you purchased a game directly through Steam in the last year? If you've only activated steam games via keys or other non-payment methods, then after about a year Valve restricts your ability to interact with steam workshop items. (And Elegy's stories are workshop items).

Having the same issue. I was able to do one world and one prompt and then it fails to load anything past the main planet screen.

Is there any contact point for the Devs to see about how to fix this?

Thought I'd chime in. I'd like to preface this by first saying that this is a wonderful little game that's been marred by game-breaking technical issues. I've been experiencing similar issues as the poster of this thread; crashing, freezing, character glitches, etc. As of tonight, I can't interact with any of the three worlds or access my writing unless in online mode which, of course, renders publishing and reading others' works impossible.

This reply is too late, but I wanted to put this here so that others can see it.

Using a SQL Lite Browser (for example DB Browser for SQLite) you can use the Open Database button to find your stories under this folder "C:\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Dejobaan Games LLC\Elegy For A Dead World\" . The filename to open should be something like SaveDatabase-[NUMBERS HERE] . Since it doesn't have an extension you have to use the (*) All Files options in the file selection popup.

Then go to the Browse Data tab and then select StoryEntries in the selection box. You should see your entries there. If you want to save them you can select the entries and export to a CSV which can be read in Excel or any other text editor.
