That's how long you folks have to meet the 2024 deadline. Don't suppose it would be too much to ask for at least news for Christmas, yeah? Been waiting semi-patiently for this game for ages, and while I understand it's been an immensely bumpy road, sometimes it feels like maybe the carriage ended up parked by the wayside instead of arriving safely in town.

But, I digress. If it's not coming out in 2024, is there any news we can get at least about it's development? Monthly updates would be nice, even if it's just "Hey, we did a few things", that way we can know the game's still being worked on at least.

I played the first game to death, modded and unmodded. Challenge playthroughs, a nostalgia playthrough when 2 was announced originally. And yes, I know what a few of you will say, just refund it. It's not about the money at this point, it's about the principle. It's about closure, at the very least. If the game is coming out, I'll be happy to have my preordered keys to share with my friends. If it isn't, at least the money went towards helping the original dev with the hardship he went through in 2023 in some tiny way.

Just please, all I want is news.

I'm so glad I saw this when I was just randomly checking to see if there were any updates! I've been a fan of Defenders Quest for what, 10 years now? I've been waiting excitedly for so long for the sequel to come out. I'm just glad it wasn't cancelled and is being released, even if it may not be perfect or flawless.
