How long to beat? Replayability?
I haven't bought this game yet, but to everyone who's beat it, how long does it take to beat this game? Is there any replayability to it?

I think it is about 15-40 hours depending on how much time you spend trying to find everything. Layout and puzzles are in the same place each time, so you will probably only replay the main game if you want to try other party setups and character classes. There is a fully functional editor with workshop support though, so you can download campaigns made by other people, or make your own. While the main game doesn't have randomization outside a few elements (some chests and some items), the editor allows player made campaigns to include a lot of randomization.

Going at the game with different party compositions is a common replay style: work with specific (and perhaps non-optimal) themes that make it more of a challenge or require a different play style than you're used to.

About replayability it makes a huge difference if you try to figure out things like puzzles, treasures, important item locations or progress paths yourself or resort to spoilers.

It took me about 20 hours to beat the game. Time well spent for sure.

As for replayability, I don't think that there's much reason to repeat the main campaign as the puzzles will only stump someone once but the ability to easily create one's own campaigns and download campaigns from other players adds tons of extensibility.

About two minutes to find gameplay is horrible - to maneuver is the pits - to use weapons ways too slow to react so your dead in first challenge forever - what a piece of crap this game is.

Sounds to me like you're just doing it wrong.

You can dislike the game if you want, but that does not by any means make it "crap". It's not for everyone, but the game is extremely well made.

This. It's a game that's a serious shot at a proper modern day dungeon crawler. They were hard as **** back then and this is no exception. It's only as hard as you let it be though.

I would love to see a random dungeon generation system like the other Dungeon Master games. Would be awesome to have that sort of infinite replayability.

May want to go to the Workshop tab, there's already a guy working on this project called "Grimrock Unlimited".
