Hey folks, I I've been enjoying the game so far, and decided to chronicle the adventure. I figured it'll be a good way to show some of the gameplay as well for any one who might be on the fence about the purchase.

have you noticed the mans face rock statchue on the first beach near the prison cage? remember this small spoiler...... you can store stuff in the chest boxes all around in the game.

Except for a possible bug when too many items are dropped in one floor spot then an item may disappear, the chests are not needed to store items. You can drop an item below ground, on the surface, or in the water, and the game will not destroy it. Like many I make the Hub my castle and store my items there. However, on my second playthrough I'm hording less stuff as I have learned what is needed as well as what equipment I prefer.

How long did it take you to finish your first play through skirmisher? (thanks for the tips btw)

Well I didn't finish my first playthrough, lol. I helped my nephew finish his game so I decided to start over under harder conditions and a different party. My "second playthrough" is normal difficulty, ironman mode, and single-use crystals. While single-use crystals makes the game tougher, the hardest part is finding the time to commit to a "gaming session" as I'm trying to pace my use of the limited save spots.

Regarding length of play, I'm not setting any records and taking my time. I had like 28 hours invested when I created the fourth element. That is not counting the different parties I tried and abandoned. Really enjoying this game, I may get into making custom levels and the workshop which would be a first for me.

I just created my second element, earth. Three of my characters are level 10 and the farmer is level 13. Those levels should sound high to you. I just finished farming the Herders Den which is the room containing the plant looking monster generators located in the Bog dungeon.

I tried when my party was level 6, but I didn't destroy enough of the generators in time and the poison mushroom plant monsters were too tough. This latest attempt my party was level 8 and I immediately destroyed all, but the one generator near the power gem. Having them spawn over there creates a nice choke. Nearby, if you leave the branch blocker intact then you'll have a great choke.
