codebreaker
so I solved the archives code.

was pretty tough for a game, but a lot of fun.

then I checked the achievements and 20% got it.

seriously, I bet 95% or more just googled the solution.

how many of you here actually solved it by hand?

Well, you get a scroll at the end of the Lexiconary that tells you exactly what the words mean, so it's not really that difficult.

are you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me?

why on earth do that... either make a puzzle/code/riddle or don't. but don't give a big ♥♥♥♥ you to people who actually solve it...

I'm not in the Lexiconary. at least now I'm warned... won't be pissed off...

thx anyway for the info...

still.. I was really happy to see designers make something challenging. too bad....

Considering only 50% has the achievement of getting the first element, I'd say 50% of players didn't even get to that puzzle

How is randomly walking around a room full of pressure plates until the door opens a puzzle?

You find a scroll that relates strange words to directions and numbers. The puzzle has a message on the wall that uses those words
Now add 2 and 2 together

My post was in reply to the OP being upset that that scroll exists.

I did solve it with no help. At the time i was there the 1st time not many people had cracked it. What is even more funny, I solved it with NO hint scroll. Was a pain, took like 3h of trial and error but the hidded treasure chest in the forest was very helpful since it basically showed me I was thinking right and I was able to deduce part of the words.

well, it's a code. you have 3 signs and three samples of the text.
if you are smart enough, you can decypher it without any help from a scroll.
and without any random walking.

read the sign at the gates. it has weird words. but they mean something.

The archives door wasn't difficult. It was the other door that was more difficult because there was no basis on what the hell "pala" and "ko" were.

Also you have to remember that those of us who bought the game this quickly are really into these kinds of games and like to solve puzzles and riddles on our own before seeking help

Not sure i agree. There are 2 types of words: a direction, all in all which keys to press on the keyboard and a digit saying how many times to press this key.
Now, you had 4 of direction keys already taken and 2 left so... with all 6 direction keys taken all thats left is another number.

with the archives code I naturally meant the code for all doors.
and once you solve door 1, you already solved door 2. unless you did way too much trial and error
I just did a pen&paper approach without ANY running around and trying stuff

and if you did not know what ko meant, it means you had in no way shape or form solved the code.
