[Spoilers] The Vault - item list

Not much good so far, but... there's a single item that's probably worth it if you don't want to burn skill points on dispell.

Golden Vault ~ only worth it if you're not planning to be able to use dispel at all

Acolyte Staff - concentration 1, special attack DISPEL (which can kill the green leaf / wind elementals

Steel Vault ~ well worth it; the shield is better than the meteor shield (!)

Cutlass - light weapon - dam 12-36 + str; Shield of Elements - +7 evasion, +15 resist all; frost bombs

Glass Vault - hmm, depends

Greater Energy Potion; Potion of Dex +1; Spirit Pendant - +25% XP. This is one of two I've found - can be useful, but of course, the faster you grab it, the more benefit you get

Floral Vault - not worth it, imo

Shaman Cloak: -2 to evasion, +30 energy; Leafbond bracelet, +20% energy regen, +20% food consumption rate [this is bad]; x3 of the minor reagents


Bonus item:

Well, my preeeeecious. Has hidden properties: +10 health, +1 damage

Actually I think that this LOTR reference item increases lvl by 1 rather then giving these stats you mentioned.

You need to cross onto the central island, the entrance to the underwater caves is at the south end.

Crossing over is one of the central puzzles, with three heads giving clues. Or you could do it like I did, and accidently trigger it while working out where the meteor was...
