Mind and Matter sliding block puzzle stuck? FIXED
I can't seem to get a block out of a corner. I found one button that opens a gate, and a hidden one that brings down a wall, but I don't know how to "pull" a block if thats possible.
EDIT: FIXED
Anyone in a similar situation can push the block through the grill behind it, it may seem like it can't be moved at first.

dont push the block into that corner ....Heres a hint to complete the puzzle you need to shoot something from a mouth to a a hole in the wall...there is 1 more gate you need to open.

I did get the thing to shoot across and lower the bars, but I saved after. I'm wondering how to get the block out.

I don't think you can..I arranged the blocks with 1 block on the aisle that leads to the other side 1 square ahead of the aisle that the mouth shoots down and the other block 3 squares up. That makes it easy to take them to the orange squares. I don't know if you can reset the puzzle. Do you have a savegame relatively close to the time you entered the area. This puzzle seems like it can be put in a situation you can not continue from. Or maybe there is some way to pull the blocks I never found it however..

It was an innocent mistake, I hate that I have to go back about 3 hours. :C
What are the rewards for completing it? Something negligible?
EDIT: You can push through the grill.... Wow I'm relieved. Thanks anyway!

No it opens up the gate to more areas. I think it has to be solved. I would wait a little bit though. Because I am not sure that the blocks cannot be pulled. I just don't know how...It seems stupid they would create puzzles that you could put into a situation that you could not complete them.

You can actually skip the puzzle altogether by jumping in the water and walking to the ladder just north of the puzzle. If you walk around, you'll find yourself on the other side of the gate. (Though there are like 6 mobs on the other side of that ladder so go prepared!)

Good to know!

I'm stuck at the same bit, I've freed the block again by pushing it through the grate, but I can't get behind it to get it anywhere useful :(

look closely at every wall ,there is a wall switch which opens a blocked corridor, when removed you can reach that pesky second block

Is this true? I have poured over every wall in that area and I don't see a switch at all.

Screenshot? Proof? What am I missing...

Edit: Found it! It's in the South East area of the puzzle. You'll find it facing west, one square north of the very SE corner.

You have to move the blocks a little to get to that switch. They are blocking off the back of the area.
