Planning on doing the old school mapping again. Hopefully the option is still there.

And, from what I've seen on videos, old school mode is still there. :)

Graph paper? Who needs graph paper?! I still have Upper/Lower Guk still memorized. Now someone give me a cookie!

Mapless mode is confirmed, but guys, this is a huge, huge, huge game. The maps are vast, both indoors/outdoors. Be warned. No, really. Maps=ginormous.

In times of Dungeon Masters, Chaos Strikes Back etc. when there was no auto-mapping, it was really necessary to draw your own maps on paper. Now this is really not needed I think, the hardest part of the game should be solving the puzzles, fighting and improving your heroes and again solving the puzzles, not drawing maps. Just my opinion. But for nostalgia, why not, but it is just a time consuming effort. Maybe there is some clever virtual graph paper mapping SW? Or maybe finding well hidden parts of maps and then adding it to your map-book would be also great feature in this kind of games. Something similar was in Alien Isolation (which is not of course dungeon crawler, but mapping system was interesting :-)).
