any way to access the portraits?

I wish to use the human portraits for other races, but i only seam to have access to a folder with grimrock 1 portraits, and a folder to put custom portraits in. im guessing i would need to put the human portaits into the custom portrait folder, that much it obvious. but how do i get the human portraits that are in the game in order to move them?

as for why? the other races are hideous to look at, why would i want to stare at that for 10 hours? x.x

The Potawan custom pack includes vanilla human portraits of LoG 2. Download it, extract the portraits in your Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock 2\Portraits and rename the files with the race you want. For example, rename a_human_male_70.tga in a_ratman_male_04.tga.
