MOD Lost City

I am playing the Mod Lost City on the Mac but my version seems to be different to the walkthroughs on You Tube. In the Troll Plateau once killed the trolls (ogres) drop the Valour armour set, however all I seem to get is a red gem and a pole axe. I could really do with the armour to face Necrus.

In the Troll caves I seem to have a Gate three with three pressure plates and ladders, I have climbed the ladders and have an ornate key. There are two keys holes on rocks in the troll caves but it doesn't seem to fit them.
At the ladders I have pressed the buttons and jumped onto the force fields but nothing has happened.
Also at gate 3 there is a square room with four pressure plates and ladders leading to levers. I have pressed the levers and depressed the pressure plates and a gate to a door opens but you can't get in due to no walkway. I am guessing that you drop down but from where?

Also at the top of troll plateau I can see a lightning wyvern flying about and something on a table but I have no clue how to get there.

Any help much appreciated as I am losing the will here.

I will take some screenshots once I figures out how to do it.

YouTube walkthrough was made in earlier versions, it is no longer that helpful, besides it's more fun to figure everything out yourself. Here's a few hints though.

- You can lockpick some keyholes.
- After activating force fields you must then move ladders in correct positions from the top platform.
- A walkway appears for a short time when these four plates are pressed. You must figure a way to press them all at the same time and then quickly run to the door. Think twice, run once.
