dunno why Steam can't handle this by itself, prolly due to location difference

just copy over your save game. Locations are on

Mac: [username]/library/application support/almost human/legend of grimrock 2
PC: c:/users/[username]/documents/almost human/legend of grimrock 2

That's not the game folder. It's the folder that holds the game config, the save games and custom stuff but not the game.

The folder "library" is not visible by default. You have to tell Finder to go there from your user folder.
