Just a little optimization for the game...

For the health of your machine, we've limited the frame rate to 60.
Lag should be reduced when there are many enemies on screen.
Added a few more icons to the main menu.

Demo Version 0.7 Update & Recent Development Progress

Complex Faction Relationships: I’ve managed to get this in, hoping it’ll work like Fallout: New Vegas (Everyone knows how hard it is to complete a game with such complex systems, but hey, what if it works? That’s how I comfort myself).

UI Optimization — "Huge" Improvements: Dialogue and self-talk won’t get mixed up anymore.

Task System Overhaul: Now looks more like a standard quest log interface.

Procedural & Time-limited Quests (in development): Yes, quests will be popping up like new items at the nearby fast-food joint—although probably just as uninspired.

Faction Interactions: The game has several factions for you to befriend or stir up trouble with. Relationships are dynamic (sadly, no romantic relationships).

Key Changes:

Tab: Open the quest log to see how many unfinished tasks you’ve taken on.

Q: Bullet time, giving you a moment to react because, let’s face it, the world is not very friendly to you.

NineLives will participate in the MGN 2025 Indie Game Carnival, yes, the Steam online event! Also, there will be a live stream on ACFUN!

Battlefield Terrain Adjustment: Reduced the phenomenon of characters being launched by terrain collisions.
Sound Feedback Optimization: Gunshots will now decrease in volume over longer distances, enhancing immersion.
Enemy Health Adjustment: Some enemies’ health has been slightly lowered to improve game fluidity.
Tutorial Tips Enhancement: Adjusted certain prompts to help new players better understand the game mechanics.
Bounty System Added: In the first level, killing an agent will trigger a police response. Don’t try to stop them!
Vlad Character Adjustment: Slightly increased Vlad’s jump height and air control, improving his mobility.

Hi, there is a bug related to language selection. When you get killed, the language switches to the next one or a random one. For example, I was playing in Spanish, but after I died, it switched to Italian or Portuguese, and it didn't allow me to reload the language unless I reset the game. Another issue is that during the third level (the battlefield), the game experienced a performance drop in the FPS, making it quite sluggish.
