Game looks blurry
I tried at ultra settings 1080P ,game looks blurry and way worse than FFVII Remake on my own PC, and I didn't see an anti-aliasing or depth of field setting, gotta try 4K with DSR but game already stutters at 1080P 30fps on a 5600X + 3060

If you want to make game not blurry you need to turn off upscaling or use FSR3, DLSS and XeSS look super blurry here.

Turn dynamic resolution off.

The game looks blurry pal because the vast majority of cutscenes are presented as fmvs. Doesn't matter if you're playing at native 4k or using upscaling, the cutscnes are going to ignore your output and play at a set 1080p 30 fps.

Turning off FSR helped for me

Its the same on ps5 they made everything really flashy but super blurry and ridiculous motion blur to hide the poor performance. But to be fair there are mot that many cutscenes as you play most of what would be a cutscene in other games.

Look if your resolution is right, mine was to low from the start

The game doesn't seem to any AA besides upscaling so there is no MSAA or TAA what means it would look rather rough unless you are using dlaa etc, dlss and xess probobly looks better then native withjout aa

Ff15 was also a mess dont know if they ever fixed pc version but ps4 version had so much stutter except on one setting that was low quality. You would think with turning jrpgs into action games no one asked for that they would put more emphasis on the performance. But SE is cheap, they always have terrible acting and writing, non-sense stories out of bad animes and poor technical application. Its too bad because there arent a lot of the types of games they make, just wish they would understand quality is important.

Yes 1080p is blurry 🥴
What are you expecting?

It's blurry because half the game is pre-rendered FMVs, and they use blurry effects and depth of field in it, which cannot be turn off since it's not being rendered on our PC at all.

The game doesnt select the correct resolution by default. For me it chose borderless fullscreen at 1756p instead of 2160p for some reason.

Same thing happened to me, 4K only works in fullscreen.

Seems like a mixed bag of results across systems and resolutions. Mine's running on Ultra and set up properly for my resolution, but it looks terrible. The lack (?) of AA is really noticeable and I had to turn DLSS *off* in order to upgrade from PS2 era graphical quality.

It's quite odd and now I have a headache after enduring the blurriness for a while.
