Denuvo removed = Game suddenly performing MUCH BETTER

Hard to tell. But it does look really bad on Denuvo. They can't get rid of this allegation.

Anyway, Square Enix should consider dropping Denuvo from all their future releases. It doesn't really help their games sell more. FFVII Rebirth even outsold XVI despite that game didn't use Denuvo since day one.

Then again you have FF 15 to this day having Denuvo in it and making the game an awful experience. That said 6 month lease on Denuvo (they removed it for Visions of Mana also) is probably going to be the gold standard for PC games

Nope, no performance improvements on this patch compared to prior to Denuvo being removed. Just poor optimisations on the game causing the performance issue all this time.

unless it's a sega backed game. metaphor will always have denuvo.

Another point of view: pirates played the game without denuvo with better perfomance than the people who payed for it. I bought the game in pack in december and i was waitting untill they put out that malware called denuvo to play It and now is the time
