But yeah, the reason nobody takes the show seriously is exactly how you described it. Even this a masterpiece of a game ends up getting so much praise from critics and fans, it still doesn't make the nominations list. And since we're allowing remakes and remastered games now, this should absolutely get nominated as well.
But no, instead it's another PlayStation remaster nobody wanted nor asked for, and will likely be forgotten about in a few months if it hasn't already. It's pretty obvious they have a huge PS bias even when they put out underwhelming products.
