New SXSG DLC announced?!
Level packs were always what I wanted to see for future DLC in Sonic Generations, and it looks like we're finally getting them!

Watch the announcement trailer here.

OMG I can't wait! I have been begging for that level to be remade.
Jokes aside, they did mention "bonus content" for Nintendo Switch 2, whatever the hell that means.

I am already pissed that Dark Beginnings is Playstation exclusive (and censored, IMAGINE CENSORING SHADOW'S STORY, WHY!?) with the bonus scene that would be really nice to see after finishing the game, and now apparently Nintendo is getting something too.

Probably just additional behind the scenes stuff in the museum.

I think its nothing.

And its instead just talking about how Sonic's side has "additional content" compared to the original Sonic Generations.

So just describing what the new game is.

SxSG is already on the Switch, they're talking about new content for the Switch 2 version.

That’s where I think it’s jumping to assumptions.

I think it’s just the description of the game itself. Not actually talking about new additions to Switch 2 (which will probably just be increasing the fps for the Shadow side to match other console versions)

Maybe either way I couldn't care less, if I wanted hand held I'd get a Steam Deck.

Cheaper than a Switch 2, and has games that don't cost $80 digital.

As well as a free system tutorial game (you have to pay for that on Switch 2), free online (unlike all the consoles), free cloud saves and proper mod support.

The cheapest Steam Deck model is also cheaper than the Switch 2, and if you want a good kart racing game on Steam Deck, Transformed is right there.

Really, while Sega has made a light jab on Nintendo about CrossWorlds being multiplatform with its online.

The big thing they should do, is jab them about the price once that is revealed. Doesn't even have to be direct, maybe just a "for an affordable price" note. Or if they want to be more direct have it start at $80 before quickly ticking down a bunch.

Sounds just like the very same jab that Sony used against SEGA with the PS1 price reveal.

^Or the same jab Sega used against the SNES even earlier

Cause Sega was generally the one to advertise themselves as the “affordable but still quality option”.

So time is a loop if they do it again
