Sonic games with multiple playable characters?

Besides origins and adventure 1 and 2, are there any other Sonic games which let you play as Tails, Knuckles and Amy etc? I've been playing this and you can only play as Sonic in one game and Shadow in the newer one.

The Sonic Advance games on GBA all had a few playable characters with their own moves. Unfortunately, they haven't been remastered/ported to modern systems yet so you can only emulate them nowadays.

All those games are included in Origins, which I already mentioned.

Technically Segasonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles' Chaotix, Sonic the Fighter, Riders and other spinoffs also have multiple playable characters.

Sonic Frontiers' final Horizon DLC too.

Oh and Sonic Generations technically had them since Classic and Modern are seen as two separate characters.

Yet this era also had multiple gameplays and playable characters (namely the Werehog, Classic and Avatar).

Sonic Mania and Boom were part of that era.

Honestly is that a big deal to not play as Big or Espio in any game?
