Just saw it yesterday it was really good yo <3 even bought bunch of sonic figures, drinking cups and popcorn bin to <3.

Loved the two post credits scenes of certain bunch of things and certain cool fella showing up and dat ring pick up in the second to.

All the actors had a fun time on this movie even the supporting cast, honestly I love the goofy support human cast in these three movies. I know they're corny but I honestly cant get enough of them <3.

Also hope to see more handsome Agent Stone <3, infact can we have some Agent Stone merch as a coffee stand or maybe someone make a coffee making drone or coffee carrying drone with agent stone's face giving me my coffee XD I'd buy that.

Its Shadow... anyone that has played the game or even knows Shadow's story knows its Shadow and it shouldn't be a surprise that he teleported away from the explosion and will probably get a mini series on Paramount+ and depending on Jim Carrey they can easily write in that Shadow saved Eggman too.

Movie itself reminds me of robocop 2: 6+ movies of plot mushed into one 2 hour runtime so nothing gets introduced, explored, or finished. It's 2 hours of eye-winking references that start and go nowhere.

Reminds me of the warcraft movie, if you aren't a fan of the series you will have ZERO clue what's going on or why to care.

There was only one major plot though. Shadow is introduced and explored why he wants revenge on GUN and thinks that's what Gerald wants. There's one plot but the characters motives don't completely line up on who and how much they want to destroy or save. I don't see how you only saw references when they were weaved into the story. Did you go see it drunk or something? It's miles (no pun intended) better than the first 2 films. They were cute and kinda fun in that good fun time way, but this one actually had a better story and more at stake than those combined IMHO. Also in hindsight it almost lowers the score of those movies which had a low score in my mind anyways and really makes me wish Knuckles standalone series was a damn fever dream. Also it has the highest critic and audience review score of all 3 films and kicked Mufasa's butt in that department as well. Your problem is you were either drunk or expecting Shakespeare or perhaps both.

Did we watch the same movie? its starts with Shadow escaping, reintroduces the main cast and then gets right into the single story thread that doesn't stop aside from a trip down memory lane for Shadow that explains his motivations.

Initial explanation: Shadow crashed to Earth and was experimented on to harness his energy and eventually there is an explosion that destroys the lab. Further explanation not much later: Flash backs to when Shadow was growing up in the lab with Maria. From there you can put two and two together and its later spelled out that the explosion killed Maria and he wants revenge. They even simplified the story leaving out the deeper motivations of Shadow thinking his whole purpose was to save Maria but they streamline it and scrapped Maria's illness and Shadow's creation, and Gerald's manipulation and made it a single minded revenge plot.
