How linear is the DLC level?

I took a peek on YT and it looks super linear/not worth the money since it only has 1-2 playthroughs' worth of stuff. Is that accurate?

Pretty linear, since its unlockable near the start of the game it means there's not a single section where you can use Doom abilities.


It's a spectacular promo for the movie, but not a very replayable level because there's a whole minute of cinematics and the stage is around 3 minutes long in total.

It's as "linear" as any other stage in the game. There are several alternate paths that are pretty fun to use. I don't think there's a single non-linear Sonic stage in the franchise haha... no matter what, you gotta go to the same spot. Besides the open zones, of course.

I guess it all depends on how you value $6 at the end of the day. It's fine to me, and the door is kind of open to do something else with it (he says "I'll be back", which could be referring to the movie, or more stages)

I feel like most people spend $6 on simple stuff like snacks anyway. If you want more gameplay I think it's worth it.

There is one path with 1 side short cut, there is also a tunnel where you can go left or right but they're the same thing.

Snacks being $6 is why people think about money more. A tube of pringles used to be a dollar and now they're $2, ♥♥♥♥ is expensive and people have less money. The experience that the dlc provides is good but it is NOT worth buying by itself.

It’s a stage based on the real world, so it is kind of linear; but it’s like the good Linear, the kind you see in stages like the originalbCity escape or this game’s chemical plant act 2; it is a far cry from yhe thril-less linear in forces

And once modders crack, it open, we have three new plug-and-play level slots

It was under 10 bucks for a fun level so I'm cool with it even though it is overpriced.

It'd be worth if you got the skin for all levels in the game.

Waste of money. I went through the stage and the challenges in less than 10 minutes. If I didn't have the Digital Deluxe Edition I wouldn't buy this. The stage is easily the worst out of the Shadow ones and is boring, it was fun to see Keanu as Shadow but you can't even use it outside of the stage. Should have been free or at least cheaper.

As Bluetomahawk said, maybe it will be a good purchase if you want stage mods later on, but the actual stage itself is not worth the money.
