Doesn't even play the same.
Coulda fooled me. The footage I've seen they both look completely identical outside of "Wow the maps have chao in them now!"
Shadow is using the same engine frontier had.
Sonic generations is still mostly relying on the old engine and the hsvcik physics.
And honestly I feel like shadow feels great even the 2d sections were enjoyable for me and I HATED boost 2d section.
I think it's a fantastic deal for the many, MANY people who haven't played Generations, or don't have a great way to access it on consoles.
It would have been much better to offer this to Steam users for cheaper if they already owned Gens. But, yknow, money.
