If they would've made Unleashed split between sonic & knuckles instead of sonic & werehog, it wouldve been the best 3D sonic game topping adventure 2. Sonic couldve had boost levels that occurred during the day & the night, and people wouldve actually enjoyed playing knuckles for once in a beat-em-up style since he wouldnt have been relegated to treasure hunting. such a missed opportunity , SMH
i know. not only does werehog force the day/night crap, but it also prevented sonic from having boost levels at night; thats why i said if Unleashed was done differently from the start as a game focusing on sonic & knuckles only. "Unleashed" is such a cool subtitle name, it couldve been a stand-out game for knuckles.
I cannot stress enough about that.
Most people only talk about the werehog but also tend to forget these collectibles.
That and the unnecessary RPG element.
Actually with the werehog once you've finished a level you're done for good yet with medals you're basically required to redo these levels again until you find every missing ones.
