Your eyes come with motion blur pre installed it's such a useless game feature.
idk if shadow warrior is a good example. Chromatic abberation and heavy blur defines its cyberpunk esq aesthetic. The same way bloom goes great with fantasy games.
You dont like the developers intended aesthetics. Thats fine, but its not being forced here. Its just part of the vibe.
motion blur is purely artistic and is one of the fundimental parts of why the boost games feel fast.
I say that, but I disable it myself lol. I just see the reasoning.
One part in the game where the rim lighting gets outta control is the Mephiles fight. everything is like glowing. Mephiles is all yellow when he should have a purple aura to match his colors and attacks.
