Shadow Gen is short I wish...

Just finish Shadow Generations and the game was short that is my only complaint I have with it, SEGA and Sonic Team has a habit of including less stages on the new Hedgehog Engine of Speed base Sonic games. Here hoping for DLC Stages for this game or Stage mods. I'm the type of guy who finish it and want MORE! STAGES! Also not adding not at least one Shadow The Hedgehog the game stage in this was a crime. Modders will of course fix this with time. Would love to play Sky Troops in this game.

Ya hopefully they dont ditch it like they did with Gens back in the day to make a mario galaxy ripoff, dlc stages would be great, Until then, people will make their own stages and remakes.

Tbf the stages are much bigger than other games, I can play them 3 or 4 times and still find new routes.

I was pretty happy with the length honestly but one or two more stages wouldn't have been unreasonable, maybe with the underground part of White Space expanded to go with it. It felt like they could've done more with that area to me.

To be fair the updated version of Sonic Generations isn't really better. They didn't improve anything and just changed the cutscenes and broke a decade of mods while jacking up the price.

YES download the game the mods were made for and there ya go have fun with Unleash Project. They didn't "break" anything and an updated version of hedgemod manager for Sonic Generations 2024 is being worked on.

To be fair the updated version of Sonic Generations isn't really better they didn't improve anything.

They got rid of the terrible launcher that felt like a coin toss if it worked, they added new collectibles, and updated the control scheme. I'm personally a huge fan of that third point, putting drop dash and boost on right trigger feels so fast and smooth and honestly resulted in so many deaths because I constantly used it being so quick and fun.

Yea they’re working on porting the mods. They already have playable surge the tenrec, a cyberspace and a sky rail stage port for shadow gens.

In the meantime, while its not the same as a new stage, definitely go for all the challenge acts and S ranks to get more play time. After you beat the game you get a hard mode for a lot of them and the bosses, and they’re ACTUALLY a challenge this time, not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ like master king koco, not to mention a certain powerup you get late game.
