Hello Guardians! ✨
After one year and seven months of development, we are thrilled to finally release our official DEMO today!
To make this demo the best it can be, we almost completely rewrote the game's architecture between March and April this year. This decision certainly carried risks and posed a huge challenge for us, but thanks to the support of our players, this version has successfully come to fruition.🥳🥳

First and foremost, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the players who participated in the Playtest. Your companionship in our development and bug-fixing process has been invaluable. We have carefully read each of your comments and suggestions. We've worked tirelessly to implement as many changes as possible, and we believe that this demo will provide a better experience than any previous version.

📢This demo includes approximately 2 hours of gameplay, which constitutes about 10% of the entire game. Your progress will stop after defeating the first bugs nest, but you will still be able to roam freely in the game without triggering new quests. The exact playtime will depend on your personal pace and play style.
Through this demo, you will get a glimpse into the basic gameplays of survival, base-building, crafting, research, combat, logistics, and exploration in "Guardians of the Sanctree".

The current version may still have some bugs, we are eager to collect player feedback to improve the game as quickly as possible.
Please stay tuned for more gameplay and maps in the full version game. Your adventure in Sanctree is far from over!

Sanctree Playtest Open Now! 🔥

Howdy all! The playtest is Open Now!🥳
Players who signed up for the playtest before today are eligible to participate in this testing session. Players who haven't signed up previously can look forward to the open free demo available starting May 20th.

The playtest's demo contains approximately 2 hours of gameplay. Your adventure will end after defeating the first hive. Actual playtime may vary depending on your personal pace.

The current version may still have many bugs, We will release the first public DEMO around May 21th, so your feedback and suggestions are crucial to us!

Hello everyone, I'm 🍊SeveralOranges, the producer of "Guardians of the Sanctree," and I'm delighted to meet you all for the first time! I'm really excited to introduce my upcoming game to you and sincerely hope you'll enjoy what we've created. Thank you all for your interest and support!🕊️

In my first Devlog, I'll be breaking down the introduction of "Guardians of the Sanctree" into three parts: the game creative process, gameplay mechanics, and the release details for our open and free demo.

📢【Game Creative Inspiration】

"Guardians of the Sanctree" was conceived in November 2022, inspired by the collective ideas of our team of ten members (most of whom were university students at the time). To kick off this new project, each member proposed their own gameplay concepts. Through two rounds of voting and subsequent refinements, we integrated everyone's ideas into a cohesive plan, resulting in a game that blends a diverse range of gameplay elements.

With the concept solidified, we quickly developed a prototype and underwent numerous rounds of testing and polishing.
Today, we are on the verge of our first large-scale open playtest.✨

📢【About Gameplay】

"Guardians of the Sanctree" is a cooperative strategy game that supports co-op, encompassing base-building, colonial simulation, survival crafting, adventure, tower defense, automation, and more. Set against the backdrop of a war between avian and insectoid races, the game sees mutated bugs from underground threatening the tree-dwelling avians.

Players take on the role of an avian leader, guiding NPCs(your followers) in constructing fortifications in the trees to resist the bugs onslaught. As your power grows, you'll lead teams to delve underground, uncover treasures, fortify defenses, and ultimately launch a counterattack to destroy the insectoid hive!

Upon first encountering "Guardians of the Sanctree," you might think of games like Oxygen Not Included, Terraria, and Factorio. Naturally, I aspire to develop a game that is as enjoyable as these great titles, and you'll get to experience the fun, innovation, and uniqueness of "Guardians of the Sanctree" in the free demo coming in late May.

📢【About First Public Testing】

"Guardians of the Sanctree" is now available for Wishlist and Play Testing Registration on the Steam store (you'll be automatically notified when the free demo is released).

The free demo is scheduled to launch in mid to late May and will feature about one-fifth of the content of the full version.
We'll continue to refine the game based on your playtest feedback, striving to enhance gameplay and artistic quality. We eagerly anticipate your valuable opinions and suggestions!💐💐
