The "Crossbell problem" comes up maybe twice offhand in SC and doesn't really have anything obvious to do with the circumstances where you hear about it (searching for Renne), but at least two very important characters (Olivier and Loewe) spend a lot of time talking about the problems in Erebonia.
I'm sure Cold Steel II will completely destroy this and make Ao mandatory reading, but for the time being, FC -> SC -> CS works better than it ought to.
that's why I will wait at least 6 months after the japanese release of cold steel 3 to buy and play the erebonia arc
I agree Cold Steel with what you said but I would say that there conections to Ao even in Cold Steel 1. First its the conference they were doing at Crossbell, we know what happened there. Also what happened to "G" on which Scarlett say he died but we can only see what happened to the terrorist group if you played Ao no Kiseki. Cold Steel also never show you what happened to Galeria Fortress, neither CSII do you only see a big hole but playing Ao no kiseki and you know. Aside from that there are other key reference and talk. When they mention Red Costellation or Ario Mclain, etc.
It seems fans of CS are waiting for II thinking that it will answer those question but CSII never do, if anything it raise even more, teasing CSIII along the way.
