Which Ultimate Weapons should I get?
I have 2 Zemurian Ores, and now I have to choose which weapons should I make. This is considerably harder to pick than in FC, and some types of weapon can be used by more than 1 character (guns for example).

On another note, I read from other threads that people were at level 90+ endgame, and I don't see how can I level up that much from where I am until endgame (low 80s and high 70s). Are the enemies going to give that much exp. or are there shiny poms spot to grind?

Thanks in advance for the input.

There are shiny poms to farm.

As for the weapon its really up to you. I would go for estelle or joshua as you have to use them.

Think of who are the 4 characters do you want for the final fight and that character must not be the one that consistantly be casing Arts. Weapon does not add ATS value/stat.

For shiny poms, there is none in chapter 8 that gives you massive amount of exp. There are shiny poms in last chapter. I believe it is in one of the underground maps.

In the EVO/remastered version, there is a achievement for beating the game on Normal diffculty with all members below 90. You can create an artificial/non-existent achievement for yourself. I think before you face the first Enforcer, you need to be at or below lvl 83, after this only engage in fights that are necessary by the game.

Thanks guys, since I don't know who will be in the final party yet, I will go with Estelle and Joshua I think.

I don't want to spend time grinding level, I have Trails of Cold Steel on backlogue that I want to start right away hahaha. If the game can be beaten without high level characters then all the better I guess.

Thanks again for the answers.

I just got the weapons for Estelle and Joshua since they are always in the party from that part of the game until the end. And I mainly used them as damage dealers. I did not use much magic (only defensive/supporting and healing magic which the other chars used).

There is one boss fight which is a bit harder (not the last boss fight after that one fight is will be a bit easier again) and I saw people writing that this would be even hard at level 99 on normal difficulty a bit.

But I think I finished the game at around level 85-90 with Estell/Joshua (they were always in the party and got most levels). For others it is easy to get to 83-84 without a lot of grind if I remember correctly. Used someone that was around 75 only and he leveld up fast in the last dungeon because of the big difference in level between him and the enemies. Then it got a bit slower when he was about 81-82 but still fast enough to only take a few fights to gain 1 more level.

Edit: Just checked again. Afther the final Boss Estell/Joshua at level 91. Before that 1 boss where you can change party for the last time they were 88 (and other party members at 84, 81 where I leveled one from about 76 to 81 pretty fast.)

Estelle's, Joshua's, and Agate's seem like the best bets. Estelle isn't as strong as the other two, but she's going to be around the whole game if you do a NG+.

It probably isn't worthwhile to get the Whip, Rapier, Orbal Gun, or Crossbow since all of those characters are doing mediocre physical damage to begin with or rely on arts.

The rapier might be worthwhile if you plan to use Julia but it probably is worthless for kloe.

The sword was my choice as it allowed me to use agate or Mueller as they both have high strength.

It's slow, granted, but weather you like it this way or not is simply a matter of taste.

Word. I feel some part of the game could use a bit quicker paced, but overall the games (FC+SC) do a really good job of building world and playing out the plot.

Forgot to add that I'm convinced to get the sword because I like Mueller when I fought him earlier. Then found out he couldn't equip gender-specific gears... so I had to go with Agate instead. Agate actually did pretty well, he sliced and diced his way from the final enforcer to the final boss, it just could've been more epic with Mueller though.

Estelle should get a weapon because she's average in all things otherwise, but is more suited for physical damage. Without it she's lacking in utility.

This is an odd thread to ask that question. Even if it's just trolling.

I use Estelle as a hard support usually. She has good quartz lines, her only real strength. If you need her to do damage on top of that I feel it is easier to go for magic damage.

Hence, the ultimate weapon goes to either Joshua or Agate, maybe Zane could also work but he usually needs to spend a turn for his self buff.

Joshua should get one for sure; not only is he forced for everything but he's constantly hitting twice which means the extra damage from the better weapon is essentially doubled. And Estelle isn't that bad choice either if you're constantly switching other characters around; True Hard Break hits pretty hard in an area and has very short delay. Zane could also do great with his if you abuse his bugged Thunder God Kick a lot. Basically the more damage numbers per unit time a character pumps out, the more they benefit from the extra attack.

Olivier is actually the one who would benefit from one the most, because of Quick Draw II's extremely large area (that even targets location) for 20 CP, and his low STR to begin with means that the integer addition means a lot more to him... except that even with the ultimate gun he's still dealing far less damage than he could with arts

Don't worry you don't need to grind but if you want to there are enemies with shinning pom in the underground sections. The enemy with a mouth for a head (squid looking thing) and the giant fish have them. If I remember correctly the squid can come with 6 of them but not sure.

That being said, personally I picked the one for Agate and Estelle. Estelle because she is the main character and just give her a glad belt and boom she can spam S-Crafts while also casting eart walls. Keep in mind this is not optimal I just love how well her S-Craft goes with the final boss theme.

If you wanna use Agate give him his weapon as his S-Craft is fantastic in this game. Also, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ his S-Craft goes so well with the final boss theme.

Kevin: Don't give him his weapon if you ask me even if you are using him since he is the support character and not the attacker. Hell even if you wanna use him as an offensive character, he is better as a mage especially in this game. (in 3rd however.....)

Kloe: She is a mage.

Schera: She is a mage.

Olivier: He is a mage.

Tita: Unless you really want to bring her along I don't recommend bringing her. She is useful up until chapter 7 if you ask me. (in 3rd however.......damn she is the mvp)

Zin: If you want Zin, sure give him a weapon.

This should cover all weapons. I won't spoil it by giving other character names.

At the end of the day though, its all up to you.
