(Potential Spoilers in Answers) Why aren't Mayu and Morishige in the character introduction area?

A friend of mine bought this and pointed out to me that Mayu and Morishige are missing from the section where you can go up to the main cast members with the eyeball and get their short bios. I know this isn't the exact game as the PSP version and there's a lot of differences from it, but I'm wondering if anyone else noticed and/or knows why they're not there.

I can't imagine it'd be plot importance-related, but I've played through the PSP version of this game completely, as well as the sequel, Book of Shadows, so don't worry about spoiling plot points or any of that for me if you happen to know about this! Thanks friends!

I'd suspect you'd have to ask someone at Team GrisGris or 5pb. to get an answer on why Mayu and Morishige's bios were added for BR (the PSP version). As far as I know, no official reason has ever been given on why they were given bios in the character introduction room for BR when they didn't have them for BC.

Speculation: Perhaps either 5pb. or someone at Team GrisGris itself decided that it would be confusing to have some of the Kisaragi cast not viewable in the character introduction room, and so it was expanded on for BR to avoid that confusion.

Also might possibly because, outside of the bonus chapters, Shig and Mayu aren't playable. You take control of every other cast member at one point or another in the main story.
