It wouldn't surprise me one bit if somebody is already working on a similar mod.
Stop spreading misinformation, come on.
The game should be moddable, how easy it is depends on lots of things.
Hopefully someone with knowledge has a look at the game and can tell us how possible things like art and voice track mods are.
Only the very first version of the game (which was free and really different from Blood Covered (PC) and BC Repeated Fear (PSP)) is made using (a very old version of) RPG Maker. And even if the Steam release was made using RPG Maker, that doesn't guarantee you can edit the files without anything other than the RPG Maker version it was made in, depending on if/how it is encrypted. I've used several RPG Maker iterations over quite a few years, so I know what I'm talking about here.
I also have no idea why you brought up making a new game - that's not what I'm after at all?
I'm actually hoping that this game will attract modders like Danganronpa and Higurashi did, though so far I haven't really seen mods discussed much here on the Corpse Party forums.
Putting the original Japanese script back in, other translations, people wanting to make their own scenarios, stuff like that.
There are Japanese players who want to play the game on PC, but can't because the Japanese script is missing from the game on Steam. It's not about the voices, but about the text.
