Ch.2 Victims Memoirs

Hey, I've been trying to get the Victims Memoirs Bad End in Chapter 2, and I'm having some trouble. I've played through all the Corpse Party games (save Dead Patient) multiple times, and this is the first time I've played through this particular version. My problem is the second Victims Memoir isn't showing up in the front entrance, where it normally does, and the next one only shows up once you read the previous letter.

Anyone got any ideas on what might've caused this? A way to fix it? Or am I just being stupid and it's on me?

And I'm at the point in the Chapter where Yui (the ghost without one eye) walks into the infirmiry, though I haven't followed her in yet.
