Brightness issues
Hi
I have problems with the brightness on this game even with the gamma turned up to maximum and my screen brightness on maximum. When i'm the monster in physical form i just end up walking into walls if i can't see a flashlight glaring at me.
Anyway i was wondering if there are any settings i can change or something to download to make it brighter so i'm not bumbling around aimlessly as monster.
Thanks for your time :Bearded:

I had to turn off Dynamic Contrast on my monitor to see anything. I'd check if your monitor also has this feature.

Try cleaning up your screen or playing in the dark too. When my lights are on, I can't see sh*t but with them off, the reflections go away and it's a lot clearer. Play in the dark!

And you have no issue with any other game or apps on your computer?
Can you make your screen so bright there is no blacks just grays?

Playing with higher brightness and gamma in general is just unfair. The monster is able to see people clearly if they have their flashlight on, and if he's smart enough. Allowing him to see in the dark perfectly and putting humans who try to hide at an disadvantage is in my mind, cheating. Play with regular brightness and gamma.

Funny, I just started a thread stating the opposite OP. Utilizing Darkness is the most important game mechanic in Damned. Too many players are ruining the experience with high gamma levels already. It actually needs to be restricted even more IMO.

Pretty sure i commented on this already, again its your computer settings thats affect brightness, the gamma bar is just for in game tweeking. The Devs cant fix this issue.

Um, what? I'm saying OTHER players are adjusting THEIR gamma too high. I keep my gamma lower then max to experience the game the way it should be. Not sure what you're trying to say to me.

Im saying that the Des are aware of this and that they can do nothing about it. Its up to people to set the brightness low. they can make it very low by default. But if I wanted to I can still make it very very bright no matter what the default is set to. If they make it .2 i can still make it 6.5 an see all white or set it back to .8 and be where i am now. Stop complaining is what im saying to you
