I'm... I'm stuck in the tutorial and I need help...

I'm ashamed to admit it but I'm stuck in the tutorial. I'm at the orbrit factory and I'm being told to put a quartz into my orbit... I think I did. I bought an Attack (Red) quarts, and a Grey time quarts, one for Estelle and one for Joshua.

I than put both quartz into slots in the orbits of their respective owners, attack to Estelle and Time to Joshua...

Yet I can't proceed. I don't have money to open a slot in either, or buy another quartz... I'm extremely confused. Did I do soemthing wrong or am I missing a step? The chart doesn't help me because I dont' know what I'm looking for in it...

That's exactly what happened to me too. Buy a healing quartz instead and put it in Estelles gear, Joshua has to have a time-related quartz in it.

Can I sell the attack quartz I already bought Estelle?

Can you leave the shop? If not load an autosave from when you first entered the building, it should be on the page just to the left of page 1 saves. If you can leave the shop go to the sewers or outside town and kill some enemies to get more septith.

Sherezard specifically tells you to have healing, and there's only one quartz (the blue one) that provides that, so you'll have to equip that on Estelle (can't on Joshua).

I'm stuck in the same place. I have the correct quartz purchased, but when I go to my slots I'm unable to add the quartz. Initially both characters have one slot that reads "Already Open (All quartz OK)", and in theory that is the slot your newly purchased quartz should go into. But clicking it doesn't do anything. What are we missing?

@meginb You can't leave the shop at this point in the tutorial.

I just started a new game and got to the point everyone is having trouble at, Blue Quartz into the top slot for Estelle and Black Quartz into Joshua's top slot, no issues whatsoever. I have gotten a menu bug where I can't manipulate the quartz in a character's orbment but closing all the menus, unequipping all quartz and replacing them or restarting the game fixed it. For placing the quartz into the slots during the tutorial I only put the quartz into the basic slot Estelle and Joshua start with.

Err you have to bring out meni you can't add quartz if you selected slots thats where slots can be unlocked if you have enough sepith for it but not for insert quartz once you have on Estele both Healing quartz (HP 1) and attack one and place time quartz on Joshua then you are all set and talk to Shera again.

I'm sure you should have been given enough sepith (they don't cost any mira) to buy one of each kind of quartz.

Yea tutorial gives you enough sepith to open slots and to buy at least each of one to have so don't think you gonna have problem with that.

the npc tells you to look at the noobie book to determine which magic stone to put in for healing, bought a water/wind for estelle, and a time for joshua, and no problems encountered.

Its good to see that I'm not the only one who had this problem lol. I figured it out after a few minutes, like others have said you need to equip the HP one. (For some reason I thought the evade one had healing)

Im stuck here too, I've put the blue orb thingy in the centre of my clockface thingy in the orbments menu, but the tutorial doesnt progress and she just asks me to put attack and recovery orbs into my quartz.

Please tell me the rest of the game gets easier? (And what to do here!)

Put a time quartz in the central slot of Joshua's orbment.

Yeah, this is where I'm stuck too. I equipped the blue quartz to Estelle and the black one to Joshua. Then I try to leave and get told that I haven't actually done it. The game explains itself very poorly at this point. I've heard great things about the game, but I'm starting to wonder.

I take it you've placed the blue quartz in Estelle's center slot (slot) and the black quartz for Joshua the same way?

I really have no clue how people get stuck on this part... unless there's a bug somehow. Having played through 4 times though, I've never encountered problems like this.
