Music sounds familiar...
The music that plays on the roads reminds me of the minish forest from LOZ minish cap
The music that plays on the mountains reminds me of the castle music from Final Fantasy V

These ones are vaguely similar:

Yep. I noticed this early on. It seems to draw heavily from familiar tunes that it mixes together. Well, that's my opinion anyway.

If you liked the field music, you might like this rendition of it. I know I did.

You know, for some reason... I always thought these two tracks sounded quite similar. I guess they're both peaceful town music. But their pacing is quite different.

Congratulations, posters: you're beginning to understand the derivative nature of video game soundtracks.

I see your point there. Ruan kinda reminded me of the salt flats from final fantasy VIII. The sky bandit theme song reminds me of KK rider from animal crossing in some parts too.

I hear heavy influences from Suikoden II, Chrono Cross

Some may be reminicent, since you can really only play a certain kind of atmospheric tune so many ways until they start to sound the same, but I should point out that Minish Cap and the rearrangements of some of those FF tracks (not the games, but their instrumental remixes used in the PSP versions and other remakes) came out after Trails did.

Remember this game came out in 2004 originally.
