The Riddle for Temp Librarian Plus 3 Makes no effing sense at all.
Even after turning to the internet for the answer! Seriously, I feel like an idiot. Can anyone explain this to me?

EDIT for reference.

[Ah, you (3)1 cypress trees Nestled atop this Grassy Hill! afflictions of far-of(F L)ands draw Nigh Unto me like wine BARRELs tumbling lightly down a soft incline as I drift into Reverie, Enveloped within the resonance of the tolling Bell!]

it probably made more sense in the original language which is japanese

"3 FL BARREL" It is indeed obscure, but it translates to 3rd FLoor BARREL. There are only two places in the Zeiss area which have a third floor: Central Factory and the Sankheim Gate. You want the second one.

Huh, I didn't even consider that FL could translate to floor.

I wasn't really thinking very hard on that one.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh. Damnit, it's as I thought, after you see the answer, it's obvious >.< How did I not see this!

Thank you!

I just googled that whole quest and found the answer, was way too lazy to try and figure out the puzzles.

I was trying not to do that. I got the first one, that was easy. But the second one, I searched the town, didn't find it, got pissed, looked up the answer, and got furious. The third one, I admit, was a "legit" puzzle and I applaud the difficulty and the sensibility of it.

I found them before through brute force... Went to every nook and cranny available at that time.
I find the Strega Shoes quest harder (full complete). There is no indication whatsoever, if there is, I might have missed it.

You get the full BP for that one by visiting Leiston, Sankheim, Wolf Fort, and Air-Letten. Be sure to actually equip the shoes first. Don't forget about it like I did and have to do it all again.

I did that..
but I didn't see anywhere in the game that those areas needs to be passed through.
the game just says a LOT of walking...

Actually when the guy hands you the shoes he asks you to run to all those places I think. I recall seeing that message in-game, at least.

exactly

By a lot of walking it literally means almost the entire Zeiss
the places are Leiston Fortress, Wolf Fort, Sanktheim Gate and for extra bp Air-Letten!

While I agree with you nonamen, this game channels the trope "Guide dang it!" like a mother-♥♥♥♥♥♥. There is SOOOO much missable ♥♥♥♥ that you couldn't possibly get without a guilde. 8 hidden quests, 2 secret quests, 9 non-trivial carnelian books of which you'd be lucky to find 3 in the course of a normal game...

Your point is valid, but the entire game is like this, so ./shrug
Schiwata Sep 8, 2014 @ 8:07pm
game is good nonetheless
