Have others gotten the chest achievement without issue? I couldn't tell if my playthrough was recording the chests correctly (meaning I flat out missed several) or if there was a glitch. I would periodically check my progress and it seemed like I could clear a dungeon without the number changing. I plan on playing through again and will use a guide but I ask because I had trouble with the s-craft achievement. What others were saying in the forums didn't work for me. I finally had to use nothing but spells for every part of the boss battle including Colonel Richard.

s-craft achievement,Only the final boss three game can be obtained using S skills. In addition
to chest achievement As long as it is to open the box after obtaining the slogan is no problem.
Achievement is continuously updated

There is a delay between when you find a new chest and when your steam achivment profile updates. I don't know if it simply only updates only once every 15-30 minutes, or when you save or something... But I had this confusion a bit while progressing through the game; only to see the score update properly if i checked it again 10 minutes later.

I got it without issue, I'd check or double check a chest to make sure I did talk to it, then save and close the game, Steam would usually update it instantly by doing that. And the S-Craft thing is easy to get if you make sure to fight each phase including Richard only using arts and non S-Craft.

The above is true for me as well. I would consistently be short on chest count, but once I closed the game and let it finish syncing my chest count would always be correct (IE one chest short of the current count in the guide - I figure that it doesn't count the final sewer chest for the first quest, although I may be wrong). Achievement definitely working :)

If you search through the forums for patient plunderer you'll eventually find a link with a save list of all the treasure chests if you are really struggling at finding the last chests.

I know you might have forgotten already, but is there a keyword in that post that I can search to help quicken the search?

Yes, I forgot, sorry. I had already done the achievement when it was bugged, so I didn't feel like doing it again when it was fixed. I think if you search for patient plunderer or chest, you might find it.

I guess it was the fault of my impatience that required so many tries for the s-craft achievement.Richard was the issue. I had read here that many earned it by only doing the very last piece of the battle s-craft free. Must have been something corrected in an early update.

I planned on playing again anyway, I wanted to see what story pieces stood out to me with a second playthrough and see what I could guess about the sequel. I will hit those few achievement things I didn't do the first time around while I am at it. And see what different dialogues I get for failing certain tasks like making Duke Dunan leave.

With a little planning I could have gotten all the achievements by now but I was a ways into the game before I bothered to check what I needed to do. I'm just surprised I missed 8 chests because I took my sweet time exploring everything, even trying to find hidden ones.
